Dredging

Canals

Contract secured with the St. Lawrence Seaway Management Corporation to dredge a section of the canal north of Lock 1 in St. Catharines, Ontario. The scope of the work was to dredge approximately 16,000m3 of silty sand material from the channel and dispose on the owner’s property. Dredging operations had to be completed during off shipping season which meant all work had to be completed during winter months. The project started on January 5th and completed prior to the start of shipping season.
